Breathe

The idea for Breathe was inspired by fascination with the works of contemporary poet and translator Julia Fiedorczuk. Breathe is a story about a situation during the pandemic: about confinement, isolation and fear. When every breath is a risk of infection or even death, we turn to nature, where we look for solace, tranquillity and rescue. Isolated from the outside world, the protagonist creates her own ‘eco cosmos’ where nature rules, whilst decay is the source of enchanting homeostasis.
