The play is based on a short story by Vladimir Sorokin, a contemporary Russian writer, famous for his grotesque treatises on Russianness. The plot is set in Sablin Manor, where irrational events lead to an unimaginable crime. The play explores mutual hatred, stereotypes, cultivating destructive rituals of violence, and what they can lead to. The performance is in Russian (with Polish subtitles). It was created by artists from Belarus, Poland and Ukraine.
