The modern world stands wide open, but we are more and more reluctant to go on a journey that is not only an adventure but also a path of inner transformation. Today we can fly to the end of the world or even go on an excursion to conquer Mount Everest, but this does not mean that we are crossing any personal boundaries. Using the language of theatre and dance, the artists investigate to what extent the archetype of the homo viator, the human on the road, applies to the contemporary European.
